His first new music in five years, Rafiq Bhatia is announcing a new EP today created in collaboration with pianist Chris Pattishall. Titled ‘Each Dream, A Melting Door’,
“I wanted the music to feel more like the Earth does when left to its own devices,” Rafiq Bhatia recently explained in a recent video interview about his new album ‘Environments’, citing sculpture artist Richard Serra and Thai filmmaker Apitchatpong Weerasethankul as influences on this expressive ambient jazz.
Today, longtime friends Rafiq Bhatia and Chris Pattishall have released their first musical collaboration, the five-song EP ‘Each Dream, A Melting Door’.
