Wilco Releases The Incredible Shrinking Tour Of Chicago Exclusively Through The iBookstore
The Chicago rock band Wilco has released a new book, The Incredible Shrinking Tour of Chicago. The book is free and available now exclusively on Apple's iBookstore for iPad. It documents the band's five hometown concerts from December 2011 with beautiful live photography, images of posters created for each concert, set lists and more.

The book also contains videos of two intimate live performances captured backstage at those December shows. The first: a powerful, moving performance of Wilco, legendary soul and gospel singer Mavis Staples and indie-pop icon Nick Lowe rehearsing The Band's classic "The Weight." The second: a never-before-seen video of Wilco and Staples rehearsing "You Are Not Alone," the song Wilco's Jeff Tweedy wrote for Staples' 2010 Grammy-winning album of the same name. dBpm Records created this new book utilizing Apple's intuitive and elegant book creation app, iBooks Author.
In other news, Wilco surprises everyone by releasing a Spanish-language version of "Dawned On Me." "Me Avivé" is available digitally now and features newly recorded lyrics, sung by Tweedy. The track was recorded to celebrate the band's recent headlining appearance at Barcelona's Primavera Sound Festival and as a thank-you to Spanish-speaking fans everywhere.
