Tim Fite's New Song "We Didn't Warn You" Premieres At My Old Kentucky Blog
The first track off TIM FITE's timely new album Under The Table Tennis is entitled "We Didn't Warn You" and débuts today at My Old Kentucky Blog. The song is a catchy modern pop tune which starts as a whimsical musing on common sense and escalates into a cathartic and powerful indictment of the greed and stupidity which resulted in the current financial calamity.
In 2007 at the peak of the Bush era, Fite released Over The Counter Culture. The album was subsequently downloaded over 120,000 times and appeared on several prominent critics' Top 10 lists. With Under The Table Tennis, Fite has once again lent his distinctive musical voice to the many hardships endured by his brethren at the hands of fat cat bankers and their cigar chomping Wall Street cronies. From heartbreaking home foreclosures to just wanting a "fair days pay for a fair days work," the unique songs on Under The Table Tennis shrewdly address these most difficult of times with a refreshing candor and indignation. The record will be available for free download at TimFite.com on May 18th.
The inimitable FITE will also be heading out on the road for a series of barnstorming performances during the month of May.
