Xenia Rubinos Announces New Tour Dates
Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Xenia Rubinos received an incredible amount of acclaim for her latest album Black Terry Cat.
Pitchfork wrote, “Rubinos' magical voice gives each of these songs their own distinctive character and magnetism ” while The Village Voice called the record “a multifaceted wonder.”
Just a few of the year end Best of Lists that included Rubinos’ Black Terry Cat, were NPR, The LA Times, New York Times, Rolling Stone and New York Observer. In their recent “17 Artists To Watch in 2017” list, music site Okayplayer wrote “Rubinos has a story to tell and if this second album is any indicator, she still has much more to say moving forward into 2017.”
Amazon Music has released a playlist of original music for the Valentine’s Season which is available exclusively on Amazon Music and offers an assortment of original songs to “help embrace the love in the air or alternately, ease the pain of heartbreak. “ Xenia’s track is a delightfully modern and soulful track appropriately called “L.O.V.E.” Listen here www.amazon.com/lovemelovemenot
As she explains, “The song is an ode to falling in love in that crazy chaotic dizzy way where everything is all a jumbled blur, feeling lost in it like a child, wanting that feeling to last forever. I wanted the song to feel simple, sweet, carefree and buoyant. When you get that break everything just melts down into syrupy little birds. Time stops when you’re together.” Xenia has announced several upcoming live dates, including appearances at festivals Pickathon, Electric Forrest and Treefort.
