Wilco Release iTunes Session, Pre-Order Available Now
Recorded at Wilco's famed Chicago loft just a few days before Christmas, and on the eve of the band's sold-out "Incredible Shrinking Tour of Chicago," a new Wilco iTunes session is available for pre-order now, exclusively at itunes.com/wilco. The 8-song album features new versions of "Dawned On Me," "Born Alone," "I Might," "Black Moon," and "Whole Love" from Wilco's latest, the Grammy-nominated album The Whole Love. The iTunes session also features new recordings of the Wilco classics "War on War" and "Passenger Side" plus a rendition of Nick Lowe's pop-rock masterpiece "Cruel To Be Kind" which features none other than the iconic Nick Lowe on lead vocals.
Wilco iTunes Session was produced by Bob Ludwig and has been mastered specifically for iTunes to optimize sound quality when downloaded.
The Whole Love is Wilco's latest album, out now on the band's own dBpm Records. It is nominated for a 2012 Grammy award in the category of Best Rock Album.
