The new song is entitled "We Are All Teenagers" and it is the thematic centerpiece of the Fite's powerful and evocative new album. The track is a heartfelt lament to the awkwardness of the teenage years, human frailty and the lost promise of youth, building steadily to a magnificent Phil Spector-like crescendo.

Based in Brooklyn, Tim Fite is an artist and a true original. Esquire Magazine referred to Fite as "one of rock 'n' roll's most subversive renaissance men" and Playboy Magazine describes him, "... as a kind of narrator. It's an approach that's a signature for guys like Randy Newman and it's exactly what wins you over to Fite's kaleidoscopic imagination. He's not just a quirky lyricist, he's a real composer."
Unlike Fite's previous works in his acclaimed "Ain't" trilogy, Fair Ain't Fair and Gone Ain't Gone, which were created using a collage of sampling from the music of strangers or artists found in the dollar bin at the record shop, Ain't Ain't Ain't utilizes a library of sounds recorded by Fite and a small cadre of friends for the sole purpose of reconstructive self-sampling which you can see href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jEbzeIxgADQ">here>.
Ain't Ain't Ain't by Tim Fite comes out this March 6th on Anti-Records.
