Sean Rowe Covers "1952 Vincent Black Lightning"
Bluegrass Situation is premiering a brand new video from acclaimed vocalist and songwriter SEAN ROWE, of whom GQ recently wrote, “His extra-deep voice pairs with folksy guitar riffs to make this the kind of album that's at once recognizable and nothing like you've ever heard before.”
The new clip features ROWE with just his battered guitar, delivering an impassioned performance of the Richard Thompson classic “1952 Vincent Black Lightning.” As ROWE explains, “Over the years it has become a part of me and my live show and I thought I might be able to take it somewhere a little different while being true to the heart of the story.”

ROWE has spent much of the last year traveling the country with his guitar, performing in people’s living rooms for a series of house concerts. In a deliberate contradiction to the prevailing expectations of a professional musician, the singer-songwriter chose to interact with fans in the most intensely personal manner. Starting this month, ROWE will begin a series of predominantly sold out dates with the acclaimed musician Shakey Graves.
“Sean Rowe is an intense man. When he sings, shouts, bangs that guitar, you sit up and take notice, listen, absorb. You're right there with him, not gazing into a phone's glowing screen or pretending not to care. His kind of intensity pulls you in and keeps you there in the moment, until he's done with you and spits you out the other side.” - Esquire
