Sean Rowe Announces Los Angeles Performance
Singer-songwriter Sean Rowe will be making a rare Los Angeles appearance on April 24th when he performs at The Hotel Cafe. Rowe, who The Wall St. Journal described as having “a ringing baritone as timeless as his approach, recalling the ecstatic intensity of late-‘60s Van Morrison and stark subtlety of late-era Johnny Cash” will be coming off a stint of “house concert” shows which saw the singer traversing the country performing in living rooms, barns and other unorthodox venues, winning a legion of new fans and friends along the way.
As Rowe explains, ”There is a very organic, raw sense to these house shows, and that's why I love them. Here you are in this person's living room, in their space, and it's personal. You have to overcome what can sometimes be uncomfortable in order to get to what's real, and in that way, it's a lot like making music for me. It can be awkward to play where someone eats their cereal every morning, but the music has a way of breaking down those walls.”
Rowe will be playing songs from his acclaimed Anti release The Salesman and the Shark as well as material from his forthcoming untitled new album.
