Saintseneca Release New Song "Moon Barks At The Dog"
Acclaimed Ohio group Saintseneca are releasing a new song today entitled “Moon Barks at The Dog."
The band’s singer and songwriter Zac Little describes the cathartic Appalachian folk ballad as “a lullaby for the stoned prophets, nostalgic for the future.” Listen HERE.
Both impressionistic and undeniably heartfelt, the song begins with the line, “All we ate today was cake, I pray the lord our teeth to break” before reaching the chorus “moon barks at the dog tonight, young tongue set on fire. Moon barks at the dog tonight Weep with me in 4-4 time.”
The band's simultaneously simple and affecting video for the song is a single profile shot of Zac Little performing, recorded at Glenn Davis’ home studio and directed by Jon Washington. Watch HERE.
