Mavis Staples Nominated For NAACP Award
The NAACP has just announced the nominees for their Image Awards and Mavis Staples' soulful collaboration with Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, You Are Not Alone, has been nominated for Outstanding Gospel Album. This is a great and absolutely well deserved honor for a legendary artist at the height of her creative powers. Much congratulations.
