Doe Paoro Reimagines "Blind"
Singer-songwriter Doe Paoro is premiering a cover of the song “Blind” by Hercules And Love care of LA Record.
Listen HERE. The song was written by Anohni (formally Antony Hergarty) and Andrew Butler, featuring vocals by Anohni.
Previously an uptempo dance track, Paoro’s reimagining of the song features her soulful voice accompanied by moving piano and some tasteful horns in a deeply reflective and emotional work.
“Something in this song always moved me on some deeper level,” Paoro explains. “Awakened a sort of longing for a long lost world.”
Paoro will be beginning a Los Angeles residency at renowned venue The Hotel Cafe starting on Wednesday November 1st, and including November 8th and November 15th.
