Curtis Harding Returns With New Track “There She Goes”
Atlanta’s Curtis Harding – “making some of the best modern soul music out right now” (Uproxx) – has returned today with his first new music in four years. Following collaborations in recent years with RÜFÜS DU SOL and Jazmine Sullivan, the catchy new song “There She Goes” is accompanied by a new music video by Italian director Michele Civetta; taking place in an opulent Beverly Hills Garden with a sinister Twilight Zone-esque secret and featuring actor Omar Dorsey (Selma, Queen Sugar) who is a recurring presence in Harding’s music videos, watch it below.

“ “There She Goes” is my poetic description capturing the beauty and duality of the ideal woman,” Harding said of the song. “This perspective is often overlooked or subject to judgment, as her strength and resilience are sometimes misunderstood. Despite the challenges we may face, she is still able to grow and shine with a sense of grace and poise.”
Harding’s latest album ‘If Words Were Flowers’ (2021) was called "a radiant old-school journey through love” by Bandcamp. Drawing on vintage soul, R&B, hip-hop, garage rock, and psychedelia, the songs are raw and gritty, fueled by airtight grooves, punchy horns, and adventurous production from Harding and frequent collaborator Sam Cohen. It followed the release of ‘Face Your Fear’ (2017), also helmed by Cohen and super producer Danger Mouse, which earned Harding dates with everyone from Jack White to Lenny Kravitz, landed him festival slots at Newport Folk, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits, and racked up over 100 million streams on Spotify to-date.
