Cameron Avery Shares "Watch Me Take It Away" Video
New York-based Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Cameron Avery, touring bassist for Tame Impala, will be kicking off a North American tour next week.
Beginning September 7th at San Francisco's Make Out Room and followed by an appearance at the Ohana Music and Arts Festival in Dana Point, CA, the tour will then move onto Chicago, Toronto and New York City. See all tour dates below.
To celebrate the shows, Avery has shared a new video for his song "Watch Me Take It Away," a single off his recently released new album, Ripe Dreams, Pipe Dreams, out now via Anti-. Grounded in soulful songwriting, multi-instrumental virtuosity, and Avery's heart wrenching, crooning Baritone, the record challenges Avery to carry the weight of a leading man for the very first time. The result is a record that is beautiful, vulnerable, and powerful. Stream the album on Spotify here.

Underneath its orchestral arrangements and Avery's gravely vocal, Ripe Dreams, Pipe Dreams is an album about relationships. As Noisey writes, "At once a deeply personal and universally relatable, at it's core, this record is perfect for anyone struggling at the end of a meaningful relationship, groping through late nights and warm bodies to the next person who makes you really feel."
