Porter Wagoners' songs will carry on in us like an everlasting sunset. I had spoken with Porter just a few days before his 80th birthday to record this interview. What was meant to be a one hour feature promoting his new Wagonmaster CD, has instead been rewritten into a special one-hour-farewell tribute for a gentleman who spent his lifetime creating for us, and in his words proclaimed, "It's the best album I've made in my whole career."
